My inlaws are at Heathrow preparing for their flight in the morning. We are super pumped! Quinn doesn’t quite understand that we have to go pick them up from the airport. When she woke up from her nap she asked if Nanny and Grampy’s airplane was here. We’re tying up loose ends here and putting our house in order for guests. Nothing like house guests to force you to hang pictures on the walls and deep clean!
Matt took vacation for the first week they’re here so I won’t be around a ton while we do family stuff. I’m a lean, mean tracking machine! And we have a trip to Chicago planned so I’m sure to do a ton of walking. My goal this week is to lose. Even if it’s a fraction of a pound, I want to stay the course.

My daughter gets to meet her grandfather in person for the first time tomorrow. And she gets to see her grandmother again! She visited when she was 8 months old and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t remember. Thank God for FaceTime. The thought of it all brings tears to my eyes. They are such special people and we are really excited to spend the next couple weeks with them.
